Step 1 — Start with neutrals Build your foundation with neutral colors — white, black, beige, camel and grey. These colors go with everything and never go out of style. A white tee, black jeans and a beige blazer can create dozens of different outfits.

Step 4 — Add personality with accessories Once you have your basics, accessories are where you add your personality. A good gold necklace, a structured handbag, and a pair of statement earrings can transform a simple outfit into something special.
Step 5 — The one in one out rule Every time you add something new to your wardrobe, remove something old. This keeps your closet intentional and prevents it from getting overwhelmed again.
